Morpheus8

About Morpheus8

Morpheus8 is a safe and effective treatment that utilizes microneedling and radio frequency technology to give the face, neck, and body a youthful appearance by targeting the deeper layers of the skin with controlled thermal energy.

Morpheus8 targets subdermal layers of the skin to remodel collagen on the face and body to deliver real results.

The Morpheus8 is approved by the FDA as a Subdermal Adipose Remodeling Device because, at its most powerful settings, it sculpts the fat under the skin. When used at lower settings, it improves texture by dilating pores, smoothing the skin, erasing scars, and tightening to give you a more youthful look.

The health of our skin not only affects the way we look, but the way we feel. For some of us, the story of our skin reveals struggles that can cause insecurity and embarrassment. Whether it’s wrinkles and skin discoloration, unsightly large pores and acne scarring, or stretch marks and loose skin—these can prevent you from developing the confidence to live life to its fullest.

Many cosmetic treatments often produce temporary results because they don’t do anything to change or improve the way your skin works from the inside. With Morpheus8, radio frequency energy is harnessed to transform your skin from within, resulting in a naturally smoother, firmer, and brighter complexion. This innovative non-surgical treatment is very safe and effective for lifting and tightening the skin, essentially restoring the skin’s natural youth and vitality.

Morpheus8 can:

  • Increase collagen production
  • Lift and tighten loose skin
  • Minimize fine lines and wrinkles

Pre-Treatment Considerations

  • Avoid skin irritation or intentional skin tanning. Sunscreen is advisable when outdoors during daylight hours.

  • Discontinue any irritant topical agents for 2-3 days prior to treatment including retinol, glycolic, lactic or salicylic acid.

  • Arrive for your treatment with clean skin. There should be no lotion, make-up, perfume, powder or bath/shower oil present on the skin in the area to be treated.

  • Avoid use of blood thinners, multivitamins, fish oil, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS, e.g., ibuprofen) one week before treatment session to reduce chance of bruising.

Post-Treatment Considerations

  • Immediately after treatment, redness is expected for 1-3 days. However, for more aggressive treatments, this may last longer. Slight to moderate swelling and a mild to moderate sunburn sensation are common post-treatment and may last 1-3 days. Skin may crust and peel for 2-7 days depending on treatment settings.

  • Itching may occur during the healing process, this is normal. Avoid rubbing or itching skin.

  • Keep skin clean and moisturized, apply Vaseline for first 1-2 days.

  • No makeup until puncture holes close, typically 1-3 days.

  • No swimming, hot tubs or saunas for 2 days.

  • Avoid excessive heat, sun exposure and sweating.

  • There are no restrictions on bathing except to treat the skin gently, avoid scrubbing or trauma to the treated area.

  • Avoid sun exposure to reduce the chance of hyperpigmentation.

  • Use mineral zinc oxide sun block SPF 30+ after 24-48 hours.
