Chemical Peels

About Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are a cosmetic treatment that uses a solution to remove the top layers of dead skin cells, revealing smoother, clearer, and more even-toned skin. The solution used in the peel will vary depending on the type of peel, but they can be classified into three main categories: light, medium, and deep peels. Light peels, also known as superficial peels, are designed to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone. Medium peels, also known as medium depth peels, can improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars. Deep peels, also known as deep depth peels, are used to improve the appearance of deep wrinkles, severe sun damage, and precancerous skin growths. Chemical peels can be used on the face, neck, chest, and hands.
